Grades are used to prove to yourself and your parents that your hard work has paid off or that you need to work harder. They are also used to your benefit so if your parents see that you over the years have been struggling in specific classes they can get you help if necessary. Their purpose is mainly to keep you in line and aware of where you are on your school track. We have grades because it shows us how much progress we have made throughout the school year so far.The purpose our grades serve are, to let us know how much we've improved or our grades have dropped.Also to see how well we comprehened with our work,Sometimes the grdes we get are always the ones we want to have. First, i think we have grades for several reasons. For example, We have grades because our teachers need to rank our performance, classwork, and homework in class and they cant do that with numbers so they use letters that we call grades, for short. ReplyDeleteEminem real name is marshall bruce mathers the 3rd.born october 17,1972 he is known by his stage name eminem, he is an america rapper, record producer, and a actor. Eminem quickly gained popularity in 1999 with his major-label debut album, the slim shady lp, which won a grammy award for best rap album. The folowing album, the marshall mathers lp, became the fastest-selling solo album in the united states history. Mathers was initianly signed to fbt productions in 1992, run by brothers jeff and mark bass. Mathers also held a minimum-wage job of cooking and dishwashing at the resturant gilbet's lodge at st. clair shores.in 1996, his debut album infinite, which was recorded at the bassmint, a recording studio owned by the bass brothers, was released under thier independent label web entertainment. Eminem recalled, "Obviously, I was young and influenced by other artists, and I got a lot of feedback saying that I sounded like Nas and AZ. 'Infinite' was me trying to figure out how I wanted my rap style to be, how I wanted to sound on the mic and present myself. It was a growing stage. I felt like 'Infinite' was like a demo that just got pressed up.

we have grades to show you how good you are progressing through school.i do think that they are an accurate reflection of your learning. it depends if you are willing to learn then your grades will be accurate. another reason is if you are in 3rd grade, and you know the questions that they give, its because thats how smart you are. i know i have learned something when i get asked a question based on what i learned and i remember it right away.i also know i haved learn something when i am the first person to answer the question.well i dont think you can acctually know what learning looks like.lerning is something you have to feel and know.if i could see learning it would be a teacher giving lessons to students.if i could see learning that means that i am learning in the process wich is the reason why i could have see learning.
ReplyDeleteWe have grades to keep up with our work and behavior and attendance and class perticipation well to sum it all up the purpose that they serve is to show how much we progressed through the year and to come home and show our parents how good we are doing in school..Yes grades are a accurate refletion of our learning because it shows what we really are doing in school grades determine whether you pass or not and also it determines whether were going to school to play or are we just determined to go to college and be somebody in life...Learning looks like based on how you act in school you know if you have learned something or not...And you'll know if you have learned something or not because if you learned something(for example)a learning person will come out of school with their notes in there backpack and etc..And you can tell if you're learning something because of your grades How you know you have learned something is when you have a A!

I think we have grades because are parent wont to see how we are doing in school.We also have grades because we wont as well to see how we are doing.The purpose they serve is to see if we are improving in class or not.Also is to prove are grades if needed.I think grades are an accurate reflection of my learning because i wont to know what i have to improve in.

Answer to question 1:we have grades because it shows how well we do in that class and if we understand the material. I think grades are an accurate reflection of my learning because if I understand the material and study and do everything the teacher asks then I will have an A in that class. Learning looks like students listening to the teacher taking notes and not be disrespect ful. I know if I have learned something then I should do well on a test and have a good grade in that class.

Grades purpose is to show our parents and ourselves along with our teachers how well we are doing and what we need to work on. Learning in something on the inside. You know what learning is when you walk always knowing something you didn't know before. I guess you can see learning happening when a teacher is interacting with a student to help them understand something.

1)We have grades because it measures the progress through school and it let us know how we are doing and on what we need to improve on to, so that why we need them.2)Because with out them we wont know how the student is doing in class and also cause with them it shows how bad or good the student is doing.3)Yes,because with them you know on what you need help on something or you can also ask for help.4)learning is something that you look at and listen in order to learn something and theirs always something new and that helps alot to.5)when i know that i learned something new is when i try doing something and i show the teacher and then she tells me if iam right or wrong so thats when i know that i learned something.

ReplyDeleteI think we have grades to make students work and try their best each day knowing that their actions can speak for themselves at time and can bite you in the but. Grades are used to prove to yourself and your parents that your hard work has paid off or that you need to work harder. They are also used to your benefit so if your parents see that you over the years have been struggling in specific classes they can get you help if necessary. Their purpose is mainly to keep you in line and aware of where you are on your school track. Yes, I think that grades are a result of your learning and an accurate reflection because they tell you if you need to ask for help on something and keep you aware. The result of the majority of the classes’ grades also helps teacher because if only one student gets an A that tells the teacher they need to re-teach the concepts. If you remember something new that is educational that means, to me that you have learned something.
